Conversation #1 - Report from the CPHO of Canada

Released in October 2020, the annual report of the chief public health officer of Canada reviews how the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated inequities across the country.

Join us for presentations from Dr. Theresa Tam, the Office of the Chief Public Health Officer, the Canadian Institute of Health Research and the NCCDH to learn more about the content and intention of this report.

In this conversation, we will explore the interplay between the social and structural determinants of health and review emerging research and data on health equity and COVID-19. This conversation will also provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions, connect with one another and share experiences, resources and solution-focused ideas.
