COVID-19 Vaccines Emerging issues Webinar: Delayed Injection Site Reactions (including COVID-19 Arm)  

This moderated and live webinar includes a presentation and discussion on the topic of delayed injection site reactions (inducing COVID-19 Arm), with live Q&A to inform health care and vaccine providers. This webinar is hosted by the National Collaborating Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCCID).

The presentation includes

  • To describe the features and management of delayed injection site reactions following administration of COVID-19 vaccines
  • To provide an overview of the Canadian Adverse Events Following Immunization Surveillance System (CAEFISS) and the data on the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines
  • To provide guidance on distinguishing these delayed injection reactions from other local reactions such as cellulitis
