ADHD diagnosis in the landscape of COVID

By the end of the session, learners should be able to:

1.       Assess the five criteria for diagnosing or initiating treatment for ADHD and identifying ADHD mimics in your practice 

2.       Discuss the complications of diagnosing ADHD prior to COVID and how this has changed in part because of the pandemic 

3.       Integrate effective assessment or when to refer on children, adolescents, young adults in your practice

This new program has been developed by psychologists Drs. Allyson Harrison and Beth Pollock with the support of a truly interprofessional planning committee. All healthcare providers and educators are welcome to register for this program. 

Session Dates & Topics:

  • Thursday, August 26, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM EST -  Return to Classroom: Challenges and considerations
  • Wednesday, September 1 - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM EST - ADHD diagnosis in the landscape of COVID
  • Thursday, September 9  - 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM EST - Supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they resume the "new normal"

Session Recordings:

  • Online sessions included will be recorded and will be made available a week after the online session is completed. 
  • Individual Fall Zoom session recordings & modules will remain available in CPD Program Centre until June 1, 2022.
