This webinar will address the updated (October 22nd) NACI Recommendations on revaccination with COVID-19 vaccines after anaphylaxis.

CANVax presents:

Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) COVID-19 Vaccines Webinar to inform Health Care Providers (HCPs) of updates to the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) recommendations on vaccination of people with severe immediate allergic reactions (e.g. anaphylaxis) following COVID-19 vaccines or to COVID-19 vaccine components.

There will be a question and answer period during this 45 minute live moderated webinar. The webinar will be recorded and available on the CANVax website following the event. The same content will be presented at the English and French webinars.


Presentation highlights: 

  • Explain the October 22, 2021 guidance from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization regarding reimmunization of people with previous severe immediate allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) following COVID-19 vaccines or to their components or container.
  • Examine the evidence and rationale behind the recommendations.
  • Locate resources to facilitate safe immunization or reimmunization of people with severe immediate allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) following COVID-19 vaccines or to their components.
