Speaker: 

  • Dr. Carole A. Estabrooks, CM, PhD, RN, FRSC, FCAHS, FAAN, FCAN, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Knowledge Translation (in the care of older adults), College of Health Sciences, University of Alberta​

Dr. Estabrooks will offer a high-level overview of early findings from a jointly funded Canadian study exploring the impact of COVID-19 in long-term care (LTC). Her presentation focuses on workers in LTC and highlights some of their stories and the looming mental health challenges we see now and may see deepen in the aftermath of COVID-19.
