CPHA: Preparing for the flu comeback - Introducing the next generation of flu vaccines for adults

There’s considerable overlap in age-related risk factors for influenza and SARS-CoV2. While each pathogen has its own disease course, viral respiratory pathogens can result in serious outcomes that can extend beyond the initial site of respiratory infection. In this session, the consequences of influenza will be reviewed particularly for adults less than 65 years old, especially for those who may experience a heightened risk of complications due to underlying chronic conditions. With a host of influenza vaccines now available for adults, join this session to learn the value these different vaccines can have for individuals and population health this season.
