Laura Chow is a Senior Planner with Vancouver Coastal Health’s Healthy Environments & Climate Change team. She is passionate about bringing a public health and equity lens to strategic planning work and mitigating the harms of climate change on our health and well-being.
Jade Yehia, Human Geographer
Jade Yehia is a Human Geographer and Environmental Health Officer with an MSc in Health Impact Assessment. She led Island Health’s Healthy Built Environment program for almost a decade before moving to the BC provincial government in Climate & Health. Most recently, she stepped out on her own as a private consultant.
Sarah Warren, Public Health Promoter @Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit
Sarah Warren is a Public Health Promoter for Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s Climate Change & Health Portfolio. Sarah is passionate about improving population health and wellbeing, with a particular interest in addressing climate-related health risks and promoting health co-benefits of climate action through the application of health promotion competencies and an intersectional lens.
