International Day for People Impacted by Suicide Loss (IDPISL) is Saturday, November 23rd, 2024. On this day people impacted by suicide loss will come together to foster community, to remember loved ones, and to share stories of loss, healing, and hope.
To recognize this year’s day, the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP) will host an online event entitled, “Navigating the Holiday Season when Living with Loss” with special guest Dr. Lara Schultz. The holiday season can be a difficult time for those bereaved by suicide loss. Please join us to learn more about coping with the holiday season and other life events, while living with suicide loss.
Coordinated by CASP’s People Impacted by Suicide Working Group, this year’s event will include a time for reflection as we gather to observe this special day. The event will be held in English and more details will be released as they become available.
Please send us any questions or situations relating to the holiday season or special life events that you’d like to have addressed during this session, using the ‘Questions’ form below.
Also see the ‘Registration’ form below to register for this free, online event.
